Herb Gravy

Herb GravyIngredients

  • 4 c. water
  • 1 c. raw cashews
  • 2½ T. cornstarch
  • 2 T. nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 T. soy sauce (Bragg Liquid Aminos)
  • 1 t. lemon juice
  • ½ t. garlic powder
  • 2 t. onion powder
  • 1 t. basil
  • pinch rosemary
  • ½ t. salt

Instructions

  1. Put 2½ c. of the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Blend all other ingredients and 1¼ c. water in blender until smooth, reserving remaining ¼ c. water to rinse out blender and add to mixture.
  3. Pour blended mixture into boiling water and cook until thickened.*

*Will thicken further as it chills.
