Healthy Melty CheeseIngredients
  • ¼ c. raw cashews
  • 4 oz. jar pimento, drained
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • ¼ c. nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 T. tahini
  • 1 t. onion powder
  • ¼ t. garlic powder
  • ¼ c. cornstarch
  • 1¼ t. salt
  • 2½ c. water

Instructions
  1. Bring 1½ cupsof the water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Liquefy theremaining ingredients including the remaining 1 cup of water in blender.
  3. Pour blended mixture into boiling water and continue cooking until thick.

Serve immediately over broccoli, pasta, baked potato, toast, or anything you would use cheese sauce for.
