Soy Curls & RiceIngredients
  • ½ c. dry Soy Curls*
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 t. chicken-style seasoning or salt
  • ½ c. chopped onion
  • ¼ c. diced red pepper
  • ¼ c. frozen peas
  • 1½ c. cooked brown rice
  • 1 t. olive oil (opt.)
  • 1 T. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos or Lite Soy Sauce
  • ½ t. Vegesal or salt to taste
  • 1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds

Instructions
  1. Place Soy Curls, water and chicken-style seasoning in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Steam onion and red pepper in ¼ c. water for 5 minutes.
  3. Add frozenpeas and steam 1 more minute.
  4. Add rice, olive oil and seasonings and almonds.
  5. Toss and serve
