Ingredients
- 4 c. water
- 1 c. raw cashews
- 2½ T. cornstarch
- 2 T. nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 T. soy sauce (Bragg Liquid Aminos)
- 1 t. lemon juice
- ½ t. garlic powder
- 2 t. onion powder
- 1 t. basil
- pinch rosemary
- ½ t. salt
Instructions
- Put 2½ c. of the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Blend all other ingredients and 1¼ c. water in blender until smooth, reserving remaining ¼ c. water to rinse out blender and add to mixture.
- Pour blended mixture into boiling water and cook until thickened.*
*Will thicken further as it chills.
