StepFast’s Fall Recipes

HEALTHY MELTY CHEESE

¼ c. raw cashews
4 oz. jar pimento, drained
1 T. lemon juice
¼ c. nutritional yeast flakes
2 T. tahini
1 t. onion powder
¼ t. garlic powder
¼ c. cornstarch
1¼ t. salt
2½ c. water

  1. Bring 1½ cups of the water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Liquefy the remaining ingredients including the remaining 1 cup of water in blender.
  3. Pour blended mixture into boiling water and continue cooking until thick.
  4. Serve immediately over broccoli, pasta, baked potato, toast, or anything you would use cheese sauce for.
